How do I know if I need therapy?

If you are experiencing trouble with emotional turmoil or behavior that is adversely affecting your family, work, or social life, then it might be worth it to consult with a mental health therapist to determine if therapy is right for you.

Is it normal to feel nervous when starting therapy?

It's normal , and it's okay to feel nervous about starting therapy. Most people have a natural fear of the unknown. There are many reasons why people may feel nervous about starting therapy. Addressing these reasons with your therapist is a great way to begin your first visit.

Will information from my therapy sessions be kept confidential?

We know that your privacy is important. We take every precaution to insure confidentiality. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is a U.S. law designed to provide high standard privacy protection for patients' medical records and other health information provided to hospitals, doctors, and even therapists. All health care professionals and staff are required to adhere to HIPAA law.

How long do sessions usually last?

Therapy sessions can last for 50-60 minutes, depending on the pay source (i.e. insurance or self-pay).

Who can receive therapy from this facility?

Children, adolescents, and adults can receive therapy at Insight Renewal Center. We treat individuals, couples, or families who might need help with emotional or behavioral hardships.

Payment/Cancellation Policy

Fees and Payment for Service

Payment Policy: Payment is required at the time the services are rendered. Individuals who have insurance coverage are required to pay their copay or coinsurance amount, including any deductibles at the time of services. Accounts past due will incur a $25 late fee for each 30 days they are overdue.

Fee and Payment for Services: Fees are set based on the type of services provided. Each insurance company has a list of services it allows to be provided to their members. As a courtesy to our clients, our staff will contact your health insurance company to verify benefits and eligibility. However, please know that it is ultimately the responsibility of the member to obtain the details of their eligibility, benefits, and coverage. Fees are set at hourly rates.

Fees are the set rates for the Clinic. The provider agrees to accept the fee set through their contract with the insurance companies. As stated above, our office will contact your health insurance company to verify your coverage. We will utilize the information provided by your insurance company to process service claims. We recommend you contact them as well, to confirm the information provided to Insight Renewal Center. If coverage exists on more than one policy, insurance companies require that the primary policy is billed first. Please provide Insight Renewal Center with all active health insurance policies. If all active insurance policies are not listed and verified, it could lead to a claims being denied and the insurance requiring payment out of pocket.

Cancellations

Cancellation/No Show Policy: If an appointment needs to be canceled, please do so as much in advance as possible. Cancellations that are made with less than 24-hour’s notice will incur a $50 cancellation fee. If you miss or No Show an appointment, you will incur a $50 fee. Repeated instances of either will result in an incremental increase of $50 per occurrence (not to exceed the allowed amount billed to insurance for the encounter). Fees may also be incurred from late arrivals resulting in cancellation of the scheduled appointment. Insight Renewal Center reserves the right to waive these fees.
